😴 The Rude Awakening

I finally rolled into Barcelona at 7:00 AM. One minute I was deep in a dream, the next, the driver was shouting “Sants!” 📢 Before I knew it, I was standing on the curb with my luggage, watching the bus disappear into the distance. 🏃‍♂️💨

I found myself surrounded by tents that looked like a local street settlement. With police cars patrolling the area, I couldn’t help but feel like I blended right in with my messy “just woke up” look! 👮‍♂️😅 Luckily, my hostel host was a legend and saved my bed so I could check in early. 🙌

🌊 The Magic of the Coast

Even with the rough start, the moment I stepped out, I remembered why seaside cities are always the best. 🏝️ There’s a special magic in the air when you’re near the water. Even though a train cancellation left me with only one day to explore, that salty breeze made me feel like I could conquer the whole city in 24 hours! 🌬️💙

⛲️ Parc de la Ciutadella

I started at the Parc de la Ciutadella. The fountain there is massive, though it honestly gave me major nostalgia—it looks exactly like those luxury spas back in China in the early 2000s! ⛲️✨

⛪️ The Main Event: Sagrada Família

The walk to the Sagrada Família was a struggle—the clouds opened up and it started pouring rain! 🌧️ I was soaked, but as soon as I reached the foot of the church and lifted my phone to take a selfie, the sky literally split open. ☀️✨

The sun came out right at that moment! It felt like a total “divine” coincidence. Looking up at Gaudí’s masterpiece, the details are mind-blowing. ❤️‍🔥

🏙️ Streets & Sweets

Walking down Passeig de Gràcia, I realized Barcelona’s architecture is on another level. 🏛️ Truthfully? I enjoyed it way more than the Champs-Élysées in Paris! Every building has its own personality. 🎨

To wrap up the day, I hit the La Boqueria market right by my hostel. 🦐🍎 It’s a sensory overload in the best way possible—the perfect spot to grab some fresh fish and local snacks to celebrate surviving my chaotic morning! 🥂🐟
