Week 22: Baltic Connect
I went to the Baltic Connect this week. After watched Google I/O’s passkey part. The security for frontend developers is not only XSS and CSRF any more. This topic is about security although they are all about the backend, still valuable to learn something.

First one, Kafka uses cross AZ(availability zone) to sync data, the syncing will cause a lot fees. While use s3 bucket the syncing is free, although the speed will be slowed down to 300ms ~ 500ms, while AZ may only need single digits of ms.

This is splunk’s detection studio, which uses agents to read the logs for security check. And here are the configs.

Gitlab allows more toochains for CICDs
Glad to see so many infustructures are coming to this AI era.
