🤖 EstoniAI Meetup

Yesterday I joined the EstoniAI Meetup — this time the theme was all about hardware ⚙️.
Since I’ve played a bit with Edge AI, I thought: why not apply? 🚀

The event was hosted at the Estonia Film Museum 🎬, and wow… the view outside was just amazing 🌳☀️.

What really caught my eye 👀 was Lendurai, a super cool drone company 🛸.
They’re doing some interesting work on drone vision simulation — which instantly clicked for me since I’m also building a drone simulator.
Even though the main talk was more about on-device AI 🧠, I really hope they’ll show up at EEVR in the future.

💡 One thing that stood out:
Here in Europe 🇪🇺, people care a lot about privacy 🔒. That’s why on-device AI gets so much love.

From my own experience:

• A server 💻 → usually computes better,
• A local device 📱 → always reacts faster.

So the real challenge is balance ⚖️ + transparency 🌐, which matter way more when privacy is at stake.
