I Learned how to fix Smart Watches

Last month, during the thesis defense, the battery of my smart watch (Galaxy Watch 6 classic) was broken. And almost the same time, the screen of my Android test phone, Mix2S were also broken.

While the plan was to throw the phone away and took the watch back to China to fix. As the PhD plan is ongoing, I think I will stay long in Tallinn. So I ordered the gadgets to fix them.

I checked the price for a second handed Mix2S on xianyu. It was around 27 EUR. So it is not budget to pay 20+ EUR to buy a screen to fix it. However, the second handed phones in europe are not cheap. There are not many phone cases and screen protector for this almost 10 years old phone.

I installed Evolution X ROM. Still fluent, but I think I will not fix it if it is broken again.

The watch battery parcel was transferred for 30 days. The watch uses Y type screw. Thank god that I have the screw driver. There was no Y-screw drivers were provided by the merchant…

Finally, the watch lives again!
